31st Annual Mississippi Valley Writers Conference
June 18-20, 2003

Augustana College, on the banks of the Mississippi River in Rock Island, Illinois, is site of the 31st annual Mississippi Valley Writers Conference.

Augustana has a long and distinguished history of providing opportunities for enrichment in the arts. MVWC, founded by the late David R. Collins and the late Evelyn Witter, is sponsored by Midwest Writing Center with funding in part from Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.

Daily manuscript workshops and a variety of seminars will be held at the Augustana College Center. Evening events, held at Midwest Writing Center, are open to the general public.
