Cancellation policy—a full refund will be made if the student drops 24 hours before the beginning of the conference. If a student drops within 24 hours of the beginning an 80% refund will be given. There will be no refunds once the conference begins.

A Day With Pen in Hand    Sponsored by  the Illinois Arts Council

From 8:30 am until 5:00 pm --with three breaks--With Pen in Hand offers a variety of help and activities for writers interested in publishing and writing.  The schedule is as follows:

Doors open at 8 a.m. Light refreshments provided.
 

8:30 – 10:15 a.m.                    Creative Non-Fiction with Dr. Robin Throne    

10:15 – 10:30 a.m.                  BREAK

10:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.          Set Down Your Story:  Writing as Healing with Joanne Wiklund

12:15 – 1:15 p.m.                    LUNCH (on your own)

1:15 – 3:00 p.m.                      Publicizing Yourself and Your Work with Kim Becwar

3:00 – 3:15 p.m.                      BREAK

3:15 – 5:00 p.m.                       Writing for Young Adults with Jon Ripslinger

Costs (Early bird and normal)

Before March 23 -- $60.00 for the whole day
