About the
Midwest Writing Center
Founded over thirty years ago by David Collins and Evelyn
Witter, Midwest Writing Center offers opportunities for
writers and readers alike throughout the Quad Cities region.
This online site serves as an information gateway to literary
events and writing resources throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois,
with services for emerging and established writers.

Midwest
Writing Center Hours
We are located at 225 E. 2nd
Street, Davenport, Iowa, 52801. We are open
Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
and Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. We are
also open by appointment in Suite 303 on the Third Floor
of Bucktown Center for the Arts.
