Call It A Window
About the book:
Monica Wendel was the national winner of the
2011 Mississippi Valley Poetry Chapbook
Contest. She was born and raised on Long
Island. She makes her living as a visiting
instructor at St. Thomas Aquinas College and
has taught creative writing at New York
University, Goldwater Hospital, and St.
Mary's Health Care Center for Kids. After
receiving her BA in philosophy from the
State University of New York at Geneseo,
Monica went on to receive her MFA in
creative writing from NYU. Currently, she
lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
